Sihle Insurance Group plans major expansion;
Seeking top producers, agencies to join the firm
ORLANDO, FL –
Sihle Insurance Group President Ken Sihle announced today the firm plans significant expansion in Florida and Georgia in the next two years, and is seeking top personal and commercial producers to join the company to execute its growth plans.
Sihle said the company also plans to merge in smaller agencies that want the benefits of joining a larger, consistently profitable firm. Sihle has the infrastructure to allow their principals to have equity and focus on their core business, rather than “wear 10 hats at once”, Sihle said. That’s a strategy successfully implemented by Jerry Sihle, the firm’s founder.
Long known for its creative compensation policies for producers, Sihle also pioneered a buy-out program for owners of small firms planning for retirement – with Sihle acquiring their firm at the end of a certain time period. “With us, you actually have an ownership position with your book, which is unusual in the industry,” said Ken Sihle.
“It is my goal to take this company to the next level and grow our staff, clients, partnerships, operations and revenues significantly in the next decade and beyond,” commented Ken Sihle. “By setting aggressive growth objectives now, we will be experiencing healthy results from this strategy by 2014 – our 40th anniversary in business.”
Sihle Insurance Group opened its seventh office in Vero Beach, Florida last month, and grand opening ceremonies are set for Nov. 5th. With property and casualty premiums of $151 million last year, Sihle ranked No. 70 in Insurance Journal’s Top 100 Private/Independent Agencies, and is consistently in the Top 100 over the years. The company now has 140 employees.
Founded by Gerald “Jerry” Sihle in 1974, Sihle Insurance Group offers a comprehensive array of business, personal, employee benefits, bonds and specialty lines of insurance. Sihle is headquartered in Altamonte Springs, with sales and service offices in Deland, Fort Myers, Jacksonville, Pensacola, Tampa Bay and Vero Beach.
